Rcon
Rcon is for Halo, allowing you to kick or ban members on your own server.
Rcon/console: contributed by Sasuke
To use rcon you need console; to get console follow my directions:
1. Right Click Your Halo Desktop Icon
2. Scroll Down To The Properties Tag And Click It
3. Go To The Short Cut Tag In The Newly Open Window And Go To Targets
4. In Targets You Should Get This "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" Add A Space Then Type -console Then click Apply
*** To Use Rcon Follow These Instructions ***
1. Hit the ~ button under ESC
2. Type "rcon ... sv_players" My server rcon pass is sakura (by doing this command you can see players and their number in the server, located in front of their name or after I don't remember anymore)
3. Find your purging target's name EX: 3 Drifter
4. Type "rcon sakura sv_ban (or kick) 3" this would then kick or ban the player whose server number is 3, Drifter is my example XD.
**** In addition, these steps explain how to use console on your own server ****
1. Obviously hit the ~ button again under ESC
2. To see the players type sv_players (noticeyou don't need to use rocn; that's because you're the server host :) )
2. To ban, you need to find the player's number as explained in the rcon instructions step 2-4, the kick and ban commands are there as well in Step 4
3. To see other commands, hit the ~ button and then the TAB button right under the ~ button and it shows the entire list of commands you can use
**** Steps 4 and 5 explain how to set up rcon soyou can have co-host ****
4. Hit the ~ Button, then type sv_rcon_password ... (I used my rcon password as an example{ after you type password don't put a _ but simply put a space } )
5. To disable rcon (the only time I did was to make wavy mad XD ) type sv_rcon_password "" once you enter that the rcon command iscompletly disabled until you put the rcon password back on.
*****WARNING FOR RCON*****
A person who uses Rcon has the same power as the host of the server who set up the rcon password, so they can restart the game, kick or ban players who don't deserve it, even close the game down (I think I never tested that one yet ehehehehe). But basically, be wise in telling the rcon password to others.

hey what do u mean i blabbed it out to them !?! i didn't say anything, but your the one putting the password up on the site for anyone who goes in there to see. so beleive me it wasn't me, and don't u think u should talk to me about it before sayin i did it!?
